I?ve also seen a recommendation to delete Directx and the PCTV software, then re-install the PCTV software (which subsequently re-installs Directx) as a fix ? but I?ve not gone down that path because I don?t want to revert to an older version of DirectX ? especially when it?ll have to be updated at some point anyway ? leading to: this exact problem all over again.ĥ. I have NOT put the card into a different PCI slot yet, and I intend to exhaust every option, including paying for a fix before doing so ? but I?ve seen that recommended.Ĥ. I?m also having trouble with the Windows Installer (I?ve changed so many system and BIOS settings trying to diagnose this problem that my installer problem might not even be related ? but I get a message stating ?An installation file cannot be found: Access Denied? when I try to uninstall the PCTV software ? in the hopes that a re-installation would somehow re-assign the proper IRQ/PCI settings.ģ. It may have something to do with Ant-Virus software or settings (as odd as that may sound)Ģ.
